Paranormalcy is a fantastic debut novel about Evie, a girl who is in the IPCA(International Paranormal Containment Agency) and can see through glamours. When paranormals get killed, Evie must find out why.
I really liked this book, and was hooked from beginning to end. Evie is a really strong and witty character, though I'm sure you've heard that before. The only thing that really annoyed me was that Evie CONSTANTLY brings up how 'adorable' hew new crush, Lend, is.
My favorite character in the book was Reth, the faerie ex-beau. I really liked his sarcasm and darkness, and appreciate how he fit into the storyline.
The sequel, Supernaturally, will be released Fall 2011.
